From the deepest, downdest, bottomest part of my heart I’d like to thank YOU, all my friends and family (who have supported me through the years) in helping celebrate another year of life! I know it’s very cliche but I’m serious in saying, if it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be the man that I am today. I have so much to be thankful for. I also want to add that I really appreciate YOU, my peers, for being such a great influence. It really means so much to me and I love you guys for it!
Now, with all the mushiness aside and with a week of rehabilitation, here’s a brief recap of the festivities that you may, or may not have, missed out on.[THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 13TH – MY ACTUAL BIRTHDAY] – A stroke of midnight surprise from my girlfriend Tiff and “opa” Sabz that had a lot to do with silly string in the face along with a Thursday morning breakfast with my big cousin Russ and a KBBQ dinner with family. My calm before the storm. [FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 14TH – THE DRINKING PARTY] – What more can I say but that I blacked out around 1. Thank you to all my family that came through. From high school, to my Events Company days, to the Usual Suspects days, to the KIIS FM days, to the 4One Syndicate days, to the Imperium LA days, it truly felt like an awesome reunion! I would shout out everyone that came, but the list would be ridiculous. I’ll save you the eyesore and just say thank you. I appreciate you for coming! [SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 15TH – THE 90’s HOUSE PARTY] – An evening of bad 90’s outfits, 90’s music (provided by Jonel), 5 or 6 bottles of Jameson, beer, flip cup, Soju jungle juice, amazing food, 110 degree weather, a photo booth, an endless stripper pole, and lastly, great people. We are definitely going to do this again! [SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 16TH – LASER TAG] – For the hommie’s that made it to Sunday, we had an insane 4 hour session of laser tag. It’s definitely a great workout. We walked out of the arena dripping sweat and booze. We definitely need to make a regular outing out of this.
Anyhow, here are some of the pictures documenting the festivities. To view them all, click to the Square 1 Group Facebook.
Thank you again to everyone that came out and participated on my 28th birthday celebration. It was a blast and I hope to see you at my 29th!
