#motivationmonday – Pacific Palisades Modern with a view

The architecture and homes in Pacific Palisades are really breathtaking. The only crappy part about PP is these homes are just so darn hard to get to! PCH is a bitch during rush our and going through the mountain is a pain in the ass. I don’t have the patience or temperament do deal with the traffic.  Then again, that’s just me.  YOU on the other hand might have the internal fortitude to live out there because it’s more about the home than the drive to and from there.

That being said, here’s this week’s #motivationmonday post. It’s a Mid Century Modern home in the Palisades with momentous views of both the interior and exterior. I would totally love to live here if it were closer to DTLA. After all I’m an inner city kid at heart …but I digress. This 3 bedroom/3 bathroom masterpiece sits on the hillside of a 8,000+ square foot lot. The open floor plan makes for a very roomy living space. This could be yours so get out there and grind out your week folks! The agent’s description is below along with photos of the property.  Enjoy!

This Mid-Century Modern is situated in a supreme El Medio Bluffs location. Designed by architect Alfred T. Wilkes this pointed post and beam design takes in breathtaking views of Temescal Canyon. The prominent roofline, vaulted ceilings and walls of glass further authenticate this timeless architecture. Enjoy multiple decks, indoor -outdoor living, a stunning abundance of natural light and flexible open floor plan. There are three bedrooms including a loft style master suite with two and a half bathrooms. This peaceful setting is an oasis where life can be enhanced by ocean breezes, close proximity to the beach, hiking trails and the Palisades Village.
